Skilled: 3 STAR EXTREME

» print view *For this kart 3 STAR EXTREME licence required! This kart is only used on the larger international race track because of its top speed of 130km/h. Fitted with a modern water-cooled engine the 32mm chassis frame and 40mm axle combine for maximum race comfort which always seems to surprise visiting drivers. The engine has enough torque for fast cornering even at low revs. The kart is fitted with a battery starter unit. Technical details:

The German Wankel engine is specifically tuned for lower revs (8000 rpm). It has the same torque as the Gold Star and is the perfect step-up from the 3 Star Extreme. Technical details:

DIESEL KART

» print view MakoTrac is the only kart track in the whole world to offer its visitors the use of a diesel-powered kart. The chassis frame has been slightly extended to accommodate the engine behind the seat. The engine is a German Hatz, modified for MakoTrac for use in race karts. It reaches speeds of up 65km/h and is preferred choice for technically minded drivers wishing to experience something different. The engine is a proven performer, having attained several records, e.g. a long distance record of 1600km per 1 litre of diesel fuel as well as completion of a 700 mile endurance race in Europe. The engine’s noise emission is lower than a 9.0hp Honda engine. Technical details:
